The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale Design Area of Study
Industrial Design - Diploma
The Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design program offers advanced technical knowledge and application and is designed to enhance professional skills. The curriculum emphasizes process rather than style, thus allowing the individual design process to evolve and emerge in conjunction with creativity, technical information, historic and current ideological influences, and production and communication skills, which are all working components of the industrial design process. The Industrial Design Program prepares graduates to seek entry-level positions in many areas, including consultant designer, product designer, furniture designer, automotive designer, and toy designer. The length of the program is twelve [12], eleven [11] week quarters.
See Dept. Chair or Academic Advisor for elective choices.
